From there, the pressure of the can will escape. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes. Then, tap another small hole opposite the spray button. You can enlarge the holes with a bigger nail, helping the pressure release. Having two holes also makes pouring the paint into your container easier.
I recommend using a plastic paint container like this one, to hold your spray paint. You can then use it as regular paint!

Do You Need To Seal Spray Paint?
